Ouzo Challenge
The Mytilene Sailing Club (I.O.M. in Greek) is organizing a sailing event, titled “Ouzo Challenge”, which will take place on Saturday 13 of July in the sea area of Mytilene and includes 2 inshore routes. The races are open for boats rated under IRC, holding a valid 2013 rating certificate. Boats that are not eligible for IRC class, can participate in the “support” class, where the length of boat and the year of built are calculated for the results. Mooring will be available in Setur Marina Mytilene and is free of charge for all the participants for Friday and Saturday. The event is included in the “Ouzo’s Fest” schedule, where many cultural events are taking place. Ouzo fest is one of the most famous gastronomical events of Lesvos, where people can taste different varieties of ouzo and Greek “meze”.
